Our tot trays this week:
Pouring red pony beads
Spooning red glass beads into heart molds
Counting using number cards and Dora Valentine stickers
I think Sweet Girl will really like this one. The number cards are in the mailbox so she will have to open the box (fine motor skills) and add the correct number of stickers to the card. She'll need some help with this one, but I think she will love it!
Putting heart picks into the parmesean cheese container
Sorting big and small hearts
Open and close activity
Each container has a little heart eraser inside. Aren't they cute???
Heart button snake
Lacing hearts onto a button snake. I found this neat idea over at Counting Coconuts.
(Full post on this cute heart button snake coming later in the week!!!)
And one extra.....just because!!
I'm linking up to Tot School
What great trays! We want to come play! You guys are going to have so much fun this week.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog! Where did you purchase your trays?
ReplyDeleteGreat trays! I love the lacing hearts idea. I might have to try that one.
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies!!
ReplyDelete@Dana....I got my trays from Discount School Supply. Oriental Trading Company has some that are a little larger, but I like the smaller ones for my daughter. She can carry them around without much difficulty.
@Alyssa....check back tomorrow to see how easy it is to make one!!!
I just love your blog! Looks like a fun week with lots of exciting activities!
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteCute! I really want to do the felt snake! I already have hearts cut out of felt that I didn't end up using for a project, this is a great way to use them! Thanks for posting and what a sweet girl you have!
ReplyDeleteThanks!! I highly recommend making the button snake! It's so easy and the kids love it!
