Toddler crafts - Week in Review

Here's our craft wrap-up for this week!  We were able to sneak in a few fun crafts even with all the birthday craziness going on around here!

Handprint chick
How adorable is this little chick?  I love it and am definitely framing it!  I got the idea from Jill at Meet the Dubiens.  Check out her site for wonderful handprint art!  I would do handprint art ALL DAY if Sweet Girl would let me!!

Easter egg wreath
Sweet Girl did this one all by herself....and asked to do another one when she was done!!  It was so easy to make.  I just cut out lots of "eggs" and a circle and handed them and some glue to Sweet Girl.

Flying kite
This "Spring-y" craft was also super easy and fun to make.  I cut out four triangles from construction paper and then traced them onto another piece of construction paper to give Sweet Girl a "template" for putting the pieces together.  It took some concentration for her to figure out which way the triangles had to go to line up, but she did it! We talked about the shapes....how triangles can be put together to make a diamond.  Then we glued on some crepe paper for the kite's tail.  We have it hanging on the door to our deck and every time the heat kicks on the kite's tail flaps around....kinda neat!

And here are our letter H crafts for the week!

Big and small hands
(Geez...my hand looks gi-normous!!!!)

H is for....hearts

What did you do this week?  Anything crafty?
