Monoprinting for Toddlers

This idea is from Jean over at The Artful Parent..one of my favorite sites for finding fun and unusual activities!

Start by painting onto your acrylic frame.  We used a foam brush but Jean recommended a rolling brush, which would probably cover a little better.

Then make designs on your frame.  Sweet Girl chose to use her little fingers.

Then press down your paper onto your frame and you will have a resist of your image on the paper.

We did about a million of these, but here are my favorites.

Letter A

A seal

A smiley face.

  1. Oh wow! I love this! Can't wait to try it with my 18 month old! Looks like something she could do and the product at the end is a work of art!
