Momma made....Heart Button Snake

So I saw this super cute button snake on Counting Coconuts (which is a fabulous blog, by the way) and decided to make a heart button snake for our Valentine's trays.  It was incredibly easy to make and I know Sweet Girl will just love it!!  All you need is some ribbon, a button, thread, needle and felt.

First cut your ribbon to the desired length (I made mine about 12 inches long).  Then either attach buttons at both ends or at one end with a loop at the other end.

Next, cut out hearts from your felt.  Cut a small slit in each one to allow just enough room for the button to slip through.  My felt is a little stretchy so I cut my slit a little smaller than our button.

Then lace up your hearts!!
